A writer who doesn't like Di Caprio as Sinatra
Thoughtful piece at the Den of Geek website about the idea of Leo Di Caprio portraying Sinatra in Martin Scorsese's planned biopic. Find it here: http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/252712/why_sinatra_deserves_better_than_dicaprio.html

You Hughes future analysis is just about as accurate as you Idol prediction. Got to rattle your cage a little! You need a little larger sense of adventure. Just like on Idol, America still roots for the under served little guy!
Small time journalists like yourself survive by sensing the way the wind is blowing, what breeze do you feel now???
This comment makes absolutely no sense. In general, you seem like an intelligent person, but I have no idea what you are talking about here.
OK: that was a test of your reverse and syncopated reasoning. I got my answer, didn't I?? lol Here's all I can tell you in public.
You accepted the general consensus of Hollywood on Idol and missed the real truth, (that many in America still like the wholesome things and are heartland people). Likewise with the Hughes legend. You literally missed the biggest story in the Hughes legend by three letters and 2 words. (Cryptic for a reason).
You have a very conservative and cautious bent that serves you well as a manager but costs you in innovation, because you hesitate to take chances. You lose chances for the home run in journalism and in Hughes legend research because of wanting to always bunt safe. The bunt will keep your safe job but will never secure the home run. I'll assume the caution is in large part because of your previous paper venture.
The Hughes saga has more to be written than all that has been written. You have pretty much quit looking (a bunt where a swing for the bleachers is needed). Sometimes rumor has a small base in fact, but sometimes rumor is just the beginning of the large base in fact. (Don't dismiss all rumors as unbelievable).
Hughes like Paul (Mau Diub) Atradies in Dune (read the book rather than the movie, if you watch a movie, don't watch the one with Sting, the English version is much better) is just the beginning of the story. The legend has only begun!
You seem intelligent also, so as they say in Dune, "Men tat, calculate". (Make some deductions). I will endeavor to get your book this week, maybe from your favorite bookstore in Vegas.
The wind is blowing toward even larger tech advances associated with HRH than anything dreamed of at NASA. Yes this is cryptic but of needs must be so for now.
Well, cryptic is always interesting, I suppose, but in my line of work, it's useless.
This "conservative" approach that you contend I have adopted in my work, which you seem to think you know a lot about, isn't really supported by the facts. It is true, I suppose, that I am more pragmatic than some (say Steve Sebelius), but I have taken a lot more chances in this business than most of my colleagues in Nevada.
It's also true that I have not walked out on flimsy limbs in my writing about Howard Hughes. That's because I am a journalist, not a conspiracy theorist. If solid and trustworthy information comes my way about Hughes, I will write about it. If it's not solid and not trustworthy, I won't take it seriously. It's pretty simple.
"Well, cryptic is always interesting, I suppose, but in my line of work, it's useless."
Your first line illustrates your limitations. You were so sure of Idol's outcome too weren't you. The Republicans 8 years ago were dreaming of a 1000 year reign. Arrogance is a dangerous attitude!
