Hughes in re: ‘Gone with the Wind'
Interesting article in the New Yorker that begins with a perceptive Hughes comment regarding the filming of "Gone with the Wind." Find it here: http://www.newyorker.com/arts/critics/atlarge/2009/05/25/090525crat_atlarge_denby

Seive was a nice analogy by HH there. Often if we use a different lense, we get the same amount of material but the particle size.is different. Much of the Hughes mythology can be viewed a dozen different ways. The estate steward have put an overriding spin on it that isn't quite accurate.
The reading of the screen play around the clock by the producers and director was insightful to how the characters played out.
